Coombend Riesling 2007

A bright, mid straw wine with tinges of green.
It is stylish and intense with attractive lemon and Granny Smith apple fruit aromas with just a hint of spicy florals.
Attractive, fresh, juicy fruit characters with flavours of apple juice and citrus fill the palate and lead to a finish that is crisp, long and persistent.

Delicious with fish including stripey trumpeter, blue-eye trevalla and calamari.

Year: 2007
Region: East Coast of Tasmania

Devil's Corner Riesling 2007
$16.00
Bottle/Case
Devil's Corner Riesling 2007
This bright, pale straw Riesling with green tinges displays vibrant aromas of limejuice and florals with subtle hints of spice and musk. The ripe, mouthfilling fruit flavours of lime and tropical fruit are balanced by a zesty minerality that wakes up the tastebuds and leaves your mouth watering for more.

It would team well with most chicken and fish dishes particularly those with Asian inspired flavours. It would also be perfect with a platter of fresh fruit and soft cheeses.

Year: 2007
Region: Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: Ideal to enjoy now

Devil's Corner 9 Degrees Riesling 2008
$16.00
Bottle/Case
Devil's Corner 9 Degrees Riesling 2008
This bright, pale straw Riesling with green tinges is musky and spicy on the nose with aromas of limejuice and passionfruit. This wine displays fresh, mouthfilling fruit on the front of the palate with initial fruit sweetness and some attractive spicy flavours. The mid-palate is quite full and the finish is soft and lingering but with sufficient acidity to give overall balance to the wine.

Enjoy with Thai style chicken and fish dishes or a mild curry with a creamy coconut sauce. It would also be perfect with a platter of fresh fruit and soft cheeses.

Year: 2008
Region: Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: An early drinking style, enjoy over the next 12-18 months.

Kayena Vineyard Riesling 2008
$20.00
Bottle/Case
Kayena Vineyard Riesling 2008
This Riesling has vibrant aromas of lemon zest with hints of citrus blossom, a little limejuice and a minerally edge.
A bright, pale straw colour with tinges of green, this is a steely style with a rush of lemon/lime acidity dominating a palate that is mouthwateringly dry. There is plenty of fruit up-front and good length and persistence hinting at a wine that will develop and soften with time in the bottle.

Serve with seafood such as prawns or scallops or delicate white fish such as whiting.

Year: 2008
Region: Tamar River, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: Will benefit from a few more years in the bottle

Pirie Estate Riesling 2007
$26.00
Bottle/Case
Pirie Estate Riesling 2007
A pale lemon/gold, the typical lime blossom aromatics are cut with a hint of fennel and slate. The palate is powerfully dry, tight and steely with a slight phenolic bite on the finish, giving away little of its future development.

Delicious with smoked eel (or chicken) and asparagus

Year: 2007
Region: Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: With a life span from 2007-2015, the best drinking is from 2008 onwards

Rosevears Riesling 2008
$19.00
Bottle/Case
Rosevears Riesling 2008

Brilliant pale lemon with a green tinge, this Riesling is lively and aromatic with lime/citrus aromas, some spicy notes and a hint of minerality.

It shows some up-front citrus fruit flavours on a palate that is tight and lean with slately mineral elements. The flavours are light and fresh and the finish shows good length and persistence of flavour while remaining crisp and refreshing.

Try it now with a platter of fresh Tassie oysters.

Year: 2008
Region: West Tamar, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: Ideal to enjoy now

South Riesling 2008
$19.00
Bottle/Case
South Riesling 2008

Bright mid-straw with green tinges, the aroma of this Riesling is fragrant and perfumed with strong elements of limejuice and hints of lemon zest and allspice/clove spiciness. On the palate it delivers an added degree of ripeness and palate richness to balance the excellent level of acidity.

Serve with Tassie mussels in a spicy tomato liquor.

Year: 2008
Region: Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania
Cellar: Ideal drinking from now until 2011
